Yiting Xia is a second-year PhD student in Computer Science Department of Rice University. She received the Bachelor's degree on Telecoms Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China. She is now working under the supervision of Prof. T.S. Eugene Ng. Her research mainly focuses on building novel network architectures in cloud data centers that facilitate data-intensive cluster computing applications. She is interested in many topics on data centers, such as architecture, performance, management, measurement.
