Using his perspective from fielding high performance systems and services at NCSA and NERSC, Bill will talk about important things to remember when deploying and supporting high performance systems and facilities.  He will comment on the challenges meaningful performance, achieving consistency, energy and helping science and engineering teams effectively use these complex systems.   He will take this perspective forward into extreme scale to try to provide insights and areas to watch as we embark on what may be a decade of technology transition.
